Hello,

Today I going to talk about the national holidays in Chile, this realizes in September, specific in 18-19, in general students are given a week of vacation and workers have some days in the weeks, deepens of your work.

The “Fiestas Patrias” in Chile, are celebrated because the anniversary of the First National Government occurred in 1811. These are inaugurated in “Parque O’Higgins” all years, by the president and mayor of Santiago.

In the other hands, in this week are many activities, such as, “Fondas”, “Rodeo”, “Festival del memo” and among others activities for all people, of all ages.  There are usually begun in 17 of September until 22 of September.  Also, are celebrated in throughout the country from Arica to Punta Arenas. Specific in Santiago you can found these parties in the national stadium, equestrian club, in the park “Padre Hurtado”, etc.

Finally, I recommend visit Chile in this dates, It´s very entertaining, newfangled and you learn a lot about the country, for example, the typical food (“empanadas de pino”, “anticuchos”, “choripanes”, “mote con huesillo”, “terremoto”), dances (“cueca”) and music (Folclore).
